Metric’s summer internship program offers structured education, training, and hands-on experience in the environmental consulting field. Our program is designed to provide interns with exposure to multiple environmental disciplines. Internships are open to juniors, seniors, recent graduates, and graduate students.
Our internship experiences are in environmental science, geology, engineering, and related fields that are both challenging and relevant to your studies, impacting your future career. The variety of roles in our program is vast, providing numerous opportunities to gain environmental experience across our business areas. How To Apply
We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude and who are eager to learn. Metric interns must embrace a flexible mindset and be adaptive to a variety of tasks and projects. Eligible candidates should be juniors or seniors with an expected graduation date between 2027 and 2028. Critical thinkers with professional communication skills and a passion for the environment are encouraged to apply.

What To Expect?
Your responsibilities will vary during this 10-week program. You may find yourself performing field investigations, drafting environmental documents and reports, collecting samples or preparing GIS maps for transportation or land development projects. Our interns work with a diverse team of environmental professionals.
