Director of Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Safety/ Certified Industrial Hygienist

 

After more than 38 years of unwavering dedication to workplace safety, we are celebrating the remarkable career of an extraordinary Certified Industrial Hygienist, Douglas W. Peters. For over three decades, he has served as an invisible shield for countless workers, masterfully identifying hidden hazards, and transforming complex environmental risks into models of occupational health. Doug’s profound expertise has not only shaped safer industries but has also ensured that generations of employees returned home safely to their families each night. As Doug steps into a well-deserved retirement, we honor a legacy defined by rigorous science, life-saving leadership, and a profound commitment to human well-being. We are grateful for Doug’s contribution and leadership, and he’ll be greatly missed.

2026 Summer Internship

 

We are thrilled to add seven interns to our teams for the summer! The Metric summer internship program will give these students a meaningful opportunity to gain real-world experience in environmental consulting while enjoying an engaging, memorable summer. During the 10-week program, through structured education, training, and hands-on project work, they are introduced to a variety of environmental disciplines and encouraged to explore where their interests and talents may lead them in their careers. Along the way, they work side by side with a diverse team of experienced environmental professionals who share their knowledge, support their growth, and of course, have plenty of fun!
